Happy Holidays (plus coupon codes)
The holidays are here once again. I’m writing this on the dreaded “Black Friday”. If you, like me, are inclined to avoid crowds- be sure to check out the new listings on my etsy. There is something sparkly for just about every style and every wardrobe. I vary the clasps I use so that they are as easy to fasten and unfasten as possible. I’ve designed pieces for girly girls, grandmothers, rock chicks, hippies, and everything in between. I also do custom pieces on request. If you live in Johnson County, I will still personally deliver your order to your door until December 14.
Every piece is handcrafted and is limited edition. If you want something that isn’t mass-produced in China, check out etsy and skip the big box stores. In addition to my shop, there are hundreds of other artisans for you to peruse. I will be continuing to add new items over the next several months, so be sure to check back.
Special holiday coupons will get you some good deals as well.
HOLIDAY202015 code will get you 20% off of any purchase of $25 or more.
HOLIDAYTWEET52015 will get you $5 off any purchase of $25 or more.
You can’t beat getting a good, handcrafted piece of jewelry and getting a good deal!
Winter Solstice is on December 21st, marking the onset of winter and the shortest day. I like this day, because it marks when we begin heading back toward more light.
There is a full moon on Christmas Day this year, as well as Uranus turning direct. That should shake things up for surprises and the unexpected.
Toaster Oven S’mores Recipe
graham crackers or gingersnaps
toaster oven baking pan with foil in the bottom
Put several graham crackers or gingersnaps on the foil on the baking tray.
Put several marshmallows and chocolate chips on each one.
Broil for a few minutes until marshmallows brown.
Let them cool a minute before eating so you don’t burn the roof of your mouth:)
Enjoy some hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, and stay safe if the weather turns icy.
Happy Saturnalia, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and Happy Kwanzaa!
